Got Questions?
No partner is necessary! Many attendees come solo, and we encourage everyone to mix and mingle during dances.
Wear something comfortable that allows you to move. Dressy casual attire and clean, non-marking shoes are recommended. For men, think dress pants and dress shirts. For women, leggings, loose skirts and dresses.
We rotate lessons between International Standard Dances (waltz, tango, quickstep, foxtrot) and International Latin Dances (cha-cha, rumba, samba, jive). During the socials, we also play songs for Viennese Waltz, West Coast Swing, Two Step, and Night Club Two. There's something for everyone!
Admission is just $15 per person, or $5 for students. This includes a beginner dance lesson followed by social dancing.
Absolutely! Each event starts with a beginner-friendly lesson. No experience is needed.
Events are held monthly on Friday nights at the German Canadian Club, 1696 Cary Rd, Kelowna.
